Privacy policy
This page explains which personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, who gets to see it and what rights you have. It is the notice required by articles 13 and 14 of the European Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).
1. Who processes your data
The controller of the data collected through this website is DREAMNEST SRL, VAT number 04346681200, registered at Via Marc'Antonio Raimondi 16/2c, 40129 Bologna. For anything concerning your data you can write to bologna1@soloaffitti.it or call 051 1961 1875.
Enquiries about long-term rentals are handled together with Prolabe Consulenze Srls, trading as Solo Affitti Bologna 1: in those cases the data you leave us is also passed on to that company, for the sole purpose of replying to you. There is one website, but the two businesses are separate and we would rather say so plainly.
2. What we collect
The website has a single point where personal data is collected: the contact form. There is no members area, no sign-up, no newsletter, no shopping cart.
| Data | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| First and last name | yes | so we know who we are talking to |
| yes | so we can reply | |
| Phone or WhatsApp | yes | so we can get back to you |
| Reason for the enquiry | yes | list a property, ask about availability, general enquiry |
| Message | no | free text: write only what you find useful |
| Property of interest | no | filled in automatically if you write from a property page |
| Address, type and size | no | asked only of people listing a property |
The form also contains a hidden anti-spam field, invisible to visitors and filled in only by programs that send messages in bulk: when it comes back filled in, the enquiry is discarded and reaches nobody.
When you open a page, the servers hosting the website also record the technical details of the request, including your IP address, the date and time, the page requested and your browser type. They are needed to run the site and keep it secure, and we do not use them to identify you.
3. Why we process it and on what basis
- To answer your enquiry and handle the exchanges that follow. The legal basis is the consent you give by ticking the box in the form (art. 6.1.a GDPR), together with the pre-contractual steps you request by sending it (art. 6.1.b GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time, with no effect on what was done before the withdrawal.
- To keep the website running safely and diagnose faults, based on our legitimate interest in keeping it sound (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
- To meet the legal obligations we are subject to, where they apply (art. 6.1.c GDPR).
We do not use your data to send you advertising, and we do not use it for purposes other than the ones written here.
4. What happens if you do not provide it
The fields marked as required are the ones we need in order to get back to you: without them the enquiry cannot be sent. Everything else is optional and only helps us come prepared to the answer.
5. Who sees your data
We neither sell nor pass on your data to anyone. It is seen by the authorised people in our organisation and by the suppliers who provide the technical tools, each acting as a processor under a contract pursuant to art. 28 GDPR.
| Supplier | What it does | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel Inc. | hosts the website and runs the function that receives the form | United States |
| Resend | delivers the email with your enquiry to our inbox | United States |
| Google Ireland Ltd | the business mailbox where the enquiry arrives and stays | European Union |
The panel we use to update the website content (DatoCMS) holds texts, property pictures and the names and photographs of the people on our team. It holds no data about clients, tenants or owners, so what you send through the form never goes through it.
6. Transfers outside the European Union
Two of the suppliers listed above are United States companies. Data is transferred on the basis of the safeguards set out in Chapter V of the GDPR, that is the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and, where applicable, the supplier's adherence to the data protection framework between the European Union and the United States.
7. How long we keep it
The website has no archive. What you type into the form is not stored here: it passes through and is delivered by email.
Your enquiry therefore sits in the agency's mailbox for as long as it takes to handle it and to meet the obligations that follow. If the contact does not lead to a relationship, we delete it within 24 months of the last exchange. The website's technical logs are kept for the limited period set by the hosting provider.
8. Cookies
This website uses no profiling cookies and has no analytics or tracking tools. What is actually stored on your device, and which external services your browser contacts, is set out in the cookie policy.
9. No profiling, no automated decisions
We do not profile you and we do not make decisions about you through automated processing under art. 22 GDPR. The person who reads your enquiry and decides how to answer is a person.
10. Your rights
At any time you can ask us to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, receive it in a format another system can read, object to the processing and withdraw the consent you gave us (artt. 15-22 GDPR).
Just write to bologna1@soloaffitti.it. We reply within one month; if the request is complex we may take up to two months more, but we will tell you within the first one.
11. Complaints to the authority
If you believe your data is being handled improperly you can contact the Italian data protection authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Roma, garante@gpdp.it, garanteprivacy.it. You can also go to the ordinary courts.
12. Changes to this notice
If we change the way we handle data we update this page and the date below. It is worth reading again if you write to us after a long time.
